The project "Timescapes of International Administrations", as part of the DFG Research Unit on International Public Administration, studies time horizons, time rules, and time practices of budgeting in international organisations, focusing on the role of the permanent bureaucracies. It compares the European Union, the United Nations and a number of specialized UN agencies in this regard. more

The project on "Staggered Membership Renewal" studies how differential time horizons among legislators in a single chamber influence legislative behaviour. It investigates this both within and across parliamentary chambers in a cross-national perspective, studying the parliaments of Australia, France, Germany and Japan. more
